Healthcare System CIO Russell Branzell Joins Healthcare Management Consulting Firm Beacon Partners

Healthcare management consulting firm Beacon Partners today announced the addition of Russell Branzell, FCHIME, FACHE, FHIMSS, as vice president. Branzell was most recently Chief Information Officer/Vice President–Information Services and Human Resources at Poudre Valley Health System (PVHS), an integrated multi-facility health system based in Fort Collins, CO.

During Branzell’s tenure, PVHS was the winner of the prestigious Malcolm Balridge National Quality Award in 2008, and among other distinctions, was named to US News and World Report’s list of America’s 50 Best Hospitals, and received the “Most Wired/Most Wireless” award 4 years in a row from Hospital & Health Networks.
