GEI Consultants to Perform Consulting Services for South Jersey Gas and South Jersey Industries

GEI Consultants, Inc., one of the nation's leading geotechnical, environmental, water resources, and ecological science and engineering firms, announced today that it has been chosen to perform consulting services for site investigation and remediation activities for South Jersey Gas and South Jersey Industries.

GEI will perform remedial investigation, remedial design, permitting, construction management, quality assurance, industrial hygiene, and hydrogeology services at 12 sites over the course of three years. Each site is the location of a former manufactured gas plant (MGP).

GEI's extensive MGP experience, as well as a prior work history with South Jersey Gas, led to this project award. Recently, GEI added a number of senior-level MGP specialists to its southern New Jersey team, all with extensive New Jersey and utility industry experience. In particular, Barry Raus, P.G., a project manager with a successful history of managing projects for South Jersey Gas and South Jersey Industries, has been assigned to the strategic oversight of these projects.
