Ernst & Young Executive Presents Keynote Address at TIBCO Spotfire User Forum 2009

What: Sam Bennikutty, a professional in the Financial Services
Office of Ernst & Young LLP, will present the keynote
address at TIBCO Spotfire's User Forum 2009. In his address
titled 'Risk and Consequences: What can energy trading
teach us about operational excellence?,' Mr. Bennikutty
will share lessons from the expanding financial meltdown
that demonstrate the pervasiveness of risk across
industries and throughout organizations.

He will describe some of the fundamental requirements for
running a risk-aware business and give examples from the
energy trading industry about the key role a robust
analytics platform can play in equipping a broader group
of professionals to make risk-aware decisions in daily
operations.

Office of Ernst & Young LLP. He has broad risk and
compliance experience, specifically in the areas of
anti-fraud, anti-money laundering (AML), and trading
surveillance (both energy trading surveillance and
securities trading surveillance). Mr. Bennikutty has
worked extensively with related risk and compliance
technology applications including transaction monitoring
applications, credit bureau applications, OFAC and
sanctions list screening systems and Know Your Customer
(KYC) systems.
