Baseline Consulting, one of the industry's premier IT services firms, today announced the appointment of Tim Milovich to the newly created position of chief operating officer (COO), reporting to Baseline Co-Founder and President Evan Levy. As COO, Milovich will oversee day-to-day operations of the company, including management of the Client Services, Field Services, and Marketing organizations. The appointment of Milovich will enable Levy to concentrate on further supporting client activities, and allow Co-Founder and Partner Jill Dyche to continue her focus on industry analysis and thought leadership.
Milovich has more than 25 years' experience starting and growing technology businesses primarily focused on solutions for the intelligence, telecommunications, banking and healthcare industries. Milovich brings a wide breadth of executive-level experience in the technology services industry having worked at companies focused on business intelligence and data integration. His background includes direct marketing, business development, financial operations and strategic planning.
Milovich joins Baseline Consulting from columnar database vendor ParAccel, Inc., where he was co-founder and headed the company's business development group. Prior to joining ParAccel, Milovich was president and CEO of Questerra, LLC, a MeadWestvaco company that is the market leader in the delivery of business intelligence (BI) mapping services. Previously, he served as Vice President of Corporate Sales for both Stamps.com and EncrypTix where he helped define and execute product solutions and service offerings and was a member of Perot Systems' pre-IPO leadership team and also worked at EDS. Earlier, Milovich was a senior executive at ExpertSoft, a leader in artificial intelligence-based decision support systems.
