Hitachi Consulting and Scribe Expand Relationship Across Global Enterprises

Hitachi Consulting, a leading provider of IT consulting and management consulting solutions and services, and Scribe, a global data integration provider, announced that they have expanded their formal arrangements to co-market Microsoft Dynamics AX enterprise ERP solutions in addition to their Dynamics CRM collaborations. The two companies are also working together to establish cloud-based industry solutions and a two-tier ERP model, which offers multinational corporations the agility and affordability of a cloud-based ERP solution while integrating existing on-premise ERP systems. An excellent example of the success of the existing relationship is joint customer Magma Design Automation, an international provider of chip design software and winner of the 2011 Microsoft Dynamics CRM Overall Customer Excellence Award with assistance from Hitachi Consulting and Scribe.

"Our joint efforts with Scribe have helped make Hitachi Consulting a global leader in CRM solutions and services," said Mike Gillis, senior vice president of Microsoft Global Alliances at Hitachi Consulting, Microsoft Dynamics CRM Partner of the Year. "Efficient data migration and integration is essential, particularly in complex global implementations of hybrid CRM and ERP solutions. Knowing Scribe as a leader in the Dynamics market gives us confidence in the future development of industry-specific hybrid solutions based on the Scribe Online integration platform."

Under the terms of the expanded agreement, Hitachi Consulting will become a Scribe Technology Partner and train additional Hitachi consultants to develop, implement, and support Scribe's Microsoft Dynamics-related products. Most of the development will be provided offshore. In turn, Scribe will provide Hitachi Consulting with intuitive, scalable data migration and integration products for hybrid IT environments to accelerate the implementation and adoption of Microsoft Dynamics AX and CRM applications by client organizations.

"Teaming with Hitachi Consulting offers a clear advantage as Scribe expands geographically, especially into Asia Pacific," said Lou Guercia, president and CEO of Scribe. "And, as we move further into the enterprise space, their strong position in the global enterprise market will serve us well as we work more closely together to meet the needs of larger companies. Looking ahead, Hitachi Consulting is the epitome of the global systems integrator Scribe wants to collaborate with to develop industry-specific integrated solutions that leverage the Scribe Online platform for hybrid IT environments."

Magma Design Automation is a prime example of the success Hitachi Consulting and Scribe have found by working closely together. Magma -- with Hitachi Consulting's Dynamics CRM experience and Scribe's data migration solution -- replaced an inadequate CRM system with a 600-user, multinational Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 solution. This gave Magma a clear view of true customer data at headquarters and in local offices around the world, which improved efficiency, response to market demands, and management of international operations while reducing overall costs.

"Hitachi Consulting and Scribe provided indispensable expertise and support in the integration and adoption of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 across our global organization," said Vickie Flores, vice president, Information Services at Magma Design Automation. "Having real insight into our customer information leads to better business decisions and improved productivity."
