Emtec Expands Management Team Leadership with New Executive Vice President, Commercial Sector

Emtec, an Information Technology consulting and managed services provider, today announced that it has expanded its leadership team with the addition of Jeff Clapper as Executive Vice President, Commercial Sector. Mr. Clapper will oversee the company’s sales and marketing efforts in the commercial sector globally, and continue to focus on building Emtec’s IT services revenues.

Bringing more than 15 years of sales and management experience, Mr. Clapper will report directly to Mr. Dinesh Desai, CEO, President, and Chairman at Emtec. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Clapper was the Vice President of Direct Sales for Financial Services at Accenture. During his tenure with Accenture, he was responsible for developing a multi-pronged go to market strategy and leading an extended team of sales professionals for the Technology Growth Platform.

Prior to that role, Mr. Clapper worked for several other leading organizations, including Unisys Corporation and International Business Machines. While at these organizations, he consistently performed well beyond designated sales and performance objectives. Mr. Clapper graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a Master’s in Industrial Administration.
