Oliver Consulting Group Announces Joint Venture with Silvercat: Silvercat Publishing and Promotions is Now National

Camryn Lemmon and Robert Goodman announce that Oliver Consulting Group, a PR firm, in Homewood, Alabama and Silvercat, a San Diego-based publishing firm have formed Silvercat Publishing & Promotions, with offices in San Diego and Birmingham.

Professionals now have a quality, cost-effective way to edit, design, publish, and promote books and other products by hiring Silvercat Publishing and Promotions (SP&P, www.silvercatpublishingandpromotions.com). Combining their 50 years' experience, Lemmon and Goodman will walk clients through the entire process of establishing a successful business brand, editing, publishing, and promoting their businesses.

Clients include professional coaches, public speakers, consultants, and entrepreneurs.
A digital revolution has transformed publishing from a print-oriented enterprise by a change in the way news media, financial trends, and traditional bookstores sell information. Technological advances in printing and digital publishing allow individuals to become published authors with little investment.

The Internet has revolutionized the way goods and services are promoted and sold. Websites, E-mail, on-line booksellers, and social networks have evolved to build connections between people, including buyers and sellers, globally. Users now build virtual communities of followers, opening their doors to communication, marketing, and customer retention.

"PR, marketing, and publishing are changing rapidly. Considering our backgrounds and expertise, we chose to combine services to help clients successfully write, publish, promote, and market their books. This includes helping develop book tours, media interviews, and materials for back-of-the-room sales. Providing clients with the services they need from conception to success, coaching them through every step of the way, will be an advantage they cannot find with other companies."

"Our timing is ideal," Goodman added. "More professionals are turning to books and other information to promote, establish their identities, and develop business name brands. What distinguishes us is that we assume many behind-the-scenes tasks so our clients can focus on doing what they do best."

As a board member of the IBPA, founder of PWSD, faculty member of La Jolla Writers Conference, and instructor at IBPA's Publishing University, Goodman works with hundreds of professionals and publishers producing quality, award-winning books for promotion and bookstore sales.

A public speaker, Lemmon teaches classes and seminars on business management, and PR. She's been a business consultant/owner, PR and media professional since 1972, working with California, San Diego, SBA, area chambers, and SBDC.
