Crossroads Signs Partnership With Capgemini for Archiving Solutions

Crossroads Systems, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: CRDS) signs a strategic partnership with Capgemini Nederland B.V., a subsidiary of the Capgemini Group, one of the world's foremost providers of consulting, technology and outsourcing services, to deliver archiving solutions.

Under the agreement, Capgemini will add Crossroads technology to its portfolio for deployment within its customers' environments as well as Capgemini's internal data centers -- greatly expanding Crossroads' market reach by harnessing the power of Capgemini's presence.

"This partnership combines our solutions and Capgemini's implementation expertise which will aim to improve performance and reduce cost for clients in the most demanding environments," said David Cerf, executive vice president of business and corporate development at Crossroads Systems. "We believe this partnership agreement will greatly enhance customer satisfaction for both companies, resulting in a long-lasting relationship which will be central to Crossroads' growth."

"Capgemini is extremely pleased to enter into a partnership that arms our sales force and data centers with the latest Crossroads technology," said Frank Huiskes, CTO of infrastructure transformation services at Capgemini.

The partnership enables Capgemini to offer Crossroads solutions to its client base. The solutions include the ReadVerify Appliance (RVA), a standalone appliance that proactively validates the integrity of tape backup systems, and SPHiNX, a holistic data protection and storage appliance that provides disaster recovery capabilities from the desktop to the data center.
