CSC Recognized as One of the World’s Most Admired IT Services Companies by FORTUNE Magazine for Second Consecutive Year

CSC (NYSE: CSC) announced today that it has been recognized on FORTUNE magazine’s list of "World’s Most Admired Companies" in 2011 for the second consecutive year. The Falls Church, Va., company was ranked number four in the Information Technology Services category and as one of the most admired companies in Virginia. According to FORTUNE, this recognition is "the definitive report card on corporate reputation," as decided by thousands of executives, directors, financial analysts and ratings companies on nine corporate attributes, from people management to financial soundness.

"CSC is honored to be recognized by FORTUNE for the second consecutive year as one of the ‘World’s Most Admired Companies’ in the IT industry," said CSC Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer Michael W. Laphen. "The strengths that CSC demonstrated in key attribute areas are significant to the way we do business — our ability to compete on a global scale, our social responsibility initiatives, the quality of our products and services, as well as the outstanding performance of our worldwide employees."

FORTUNE’s study of "World’s Most Admired Companies" is conducted annually by The Hay Group, a global consulting firm. Approximately 1,400 companies are included in the initial research: the FORTUNE 1,000 (the 1,000 largest U.S. companies ranked by revenue), non-U.S. companies in FORTUNE's Global 500 database with revenue of $10 billion or more, and the top foreign companies operating in the U.S.

The Most Admired survey results are featured in the March 21 issue of FORTUNE, and are accessible online at http://money.cnn.com/magazines/fortune/mostadmired/2011/index.html.
