Hayes Management Consulting, a leading healthcare consulting firm, is pleased to announce the formation of its new revenue cycle practice and welcomes its leader, Sharon Christoforakis, to the firm.

Christoforakis comes to Hayes having worked with more than 90 top medical schools and multiple large independent practices over her 27-year career, gathering deep experience in healthcare operations, consulting, advisement, assessment and management. Her core competency is healthcare revenue cycle strategy and execution. Her skills include revenue cycle audit and business process evaluations, managing revenue cycle cash acceleration projects, business office staffing and productivity assessments, business office process redesign (both front end and back office), business office outsourcing and vendor contract negotiations.
Before Hayes, Christoforakis served as senior vice president of revenue operations at ABQ Health Partners in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Previous to ABQ, she worked for 12 years as a manager/consultant at Pricewaterhouse Coopers LLP (PwC). Christoforakis’ holds a Masters of Science in Educational Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.

At Hayes, Christoforakis will be responsible for leading, planning and directing the activities of Hayes’ revenue cycle practice.
