MN Society of CPAs Selects Business Pandemic Planning Consultant Ken Wilson

The Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants, in partnership with the Accounting Continuing Professional Education Network (ACPEN), will present a series of two webcasts on how to prepare your business for an influenza pandemic. Ken Wilson, of the Wilson Marketing Group, will be the presenter for the webcasts which are titled "Business Simplified Business Pandemic Planning -- Preparation and Recovery". The Webcast are scheduled for September 18, 2009, 11:00 am - 12:45 pm CDT and October 15, 2009 11:00 am - 12:45 pm CDT. These webcasts series is part of the society’s Professional Education Program and qualifies for CPE credits. The webcast series is also available to CPA societies located in other states. Ken’s presentation discusses how a pandemic influenza would affect your business, and outlines the steps you can take to minimize the impact. The webcasts focus on preparing small to medium-sized firms to face the challenges presented by a pandemic influenza, and cover the components of a Business Pandemic Plan: the Crisis Management Team, Company Policies, the Communications Plan, the Health and Safety Education Plan, the Essential Services/Functions Plan and the Recovery Plan.
