Bank Consultant Group Gregory A. Noonan & Associates Inc. Adds Expert to Assist Banks with Critical 2010 Changes

To help banks manage 2010 changes, bank consultant firm Gregory A. Noonan & Associates Inc. has added Enterprise Performance Management expert Paul Panther of Rockford, Illinois to its associate group.

Since 2005, Gregory A. Noonan & Associates Inc. (GNA) has helped financial institutions nationwide improve profits and processes for sustainable, long-term success. Bank expert Greg Noonan has more than 25 years experience in the banking industry and is frequently engaged by high performing institutions and banking associations for his insight and counsel on strategic, financial, and project management.

As a sought-after community bank consultant, Greg has been instrumental in helping many regional and local institutions stabilize their operations in 2009. The greater need for fast, in-depth analysis and reporting in 2010 drove GNA to add the Enterprise Performance Management consulting service to its offerings. “In addition to the massive regulatory and market changes being faced by banks, many will also have to make significant system changes. The consolidation in the Enterprise Performance Management software industry is phasing out some key banking software solutions, leaving banks in a potentially vulnerable position at a very critical time,” Greg stated. He continued, “Even banks that aren’t using these programs will still need to optimize their current systems to deal with the more rigorous reporting and data demands of the future.” GNA is encouraging CFOs to perform a thorough assessment of their financial processes and consider critical upgrades in their 2010 financial scenario planning.

“Adding Paul Panther to our pool of experts will help us provide clients with a significant competitive advantage next year. We have the financial and project management experts, and with the addition of someone who truly understands the profitability and planning system needs of our clients, we are able to provide a complete planning and reporting solution for next year.”

Paul Panther is a senior level financial institution consultant with in-depth knowledge of financial reporting systems. He brings more than 15 years experience as a client and a consultant helping banks improve their finances with the latest technologies in Enterprise Performance Management platforms, including SAP Business Objects Planning XI. Paul has broad experience helping banks design and implement better reporting and planning systems. Paul has a CPA, a Masters in Finance from Northern Illinois University, and is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking in Madison.

Mr. Noonan has held numerous senior level positions at financial institutions of various sizes. He graduated from Marquette University with a B.S. in Finance and serves on the Boards of Directors for several organizations. Greg is a member of the TBA, AMIFS, and the FENG, and his articles and contributions have been featured by the Memphis Business Journal, FinCri Advisor, Gonzo Banker, and the Barret School of Banking.

Gregory A. Noonan & Associates, Inc. provides consulting and management services to financial institutions in the areas of strategic planning, merger & acquisition, financial management, profitability analysis, enterprise performance management, process improvement, retail branch productivity, and project management.
