Systems Alliance Hires Brad Merryman to Lead Business Development Efforts in Florida

Systems Alliance, Inc., a regional systems integrator providing high-value IT and business consulting services, today announced Brad Merryman, formerly global partner executive with Sun Microsystems responsible for Sun’s relationship with SAS Institute, has joined the company as a senior business development director. Based in south Florida, Merryman will focus on building relationships with IT and business decision makers in private and public sector enterprises throughout Florida.

Prior to joining Systems Alliance, Merryman had a 14 year career with Sun Microsystems leading business development and sales activities with several of Sun’s global technology and consulting partners, including SAS Institute, Accenture and PricewaterhouseCoopers. In these roles Merryman enhanced Sun’s client and partner relationships, and produced consistently strong financial results.

Before Sun, Merryman held sales, business development and marketing management positions with Digital Equipment Corporation. He began his IT sales and marketing career at Burroughs Corporation (Unisys). Merryman holds a MBA from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Marketing from Illinois State University.
