Management Technologies Readies Booz Allen Hamilton Staff for the Earned Value Professional (EVP) Exam

Management Technologies recently helped Booz Allen Hamilton get its experienced EVM workforce ready for the seven hour EVP exam. The EVPrep™ workshop included test taking strategies, earned value management exam topics, and exam-like questions from each part of the exam. This workshop has also been held for CH2M-Hill, Fluor, CSC, and at public sessions around the country.

Booz Allen’s ongoing support of the EVP certification process demonstrates their commitment to ensure the most qualified individuals are in their cadre of skilled earned value management staff.

The EVP certification recognizes the depth and breadth of one’s understanding of earned value management (EVM), and related topics. Earned value management skills and experience are becoming a key discriminator among individuals and organizations seeking work on the many government projects that require EVM.

The EVPrep™ workshop is a two-day workshop to help prepare candidates for the day long Earned Value Professional (EVP) exam. Attendees answer and then discuss exam-like questions that are representative of all four exam parts including the challenging EVM written memo. The exam is administered by the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering International (AACEi, www.aacei.org).

The next public offering of the EVPrep workshop is in Naples, FL on May 30-31, immediately following the EVM World conference (www.pmi-cpm.org).

The EVPrep™ workshop is held at public sites and at client locations for groups of six or more. Public sessions are planned for DC, VA, FL, AZ, IL, WA, MD, CA and PA. More information about the public schedule and the EVPrep™ workshop can be found at http://www.mgmt-technologies.com/pubevents.html.
