Logile Names Industry Veteran Jeff Peretin as Vice President of Sales and National Accounts

Logile, Inc., a provider of next generation Real-Time Enterprise Workforce and Execution Management solutions, today announced that Jeff Peretin has joined the company as Vice President of Sales and National Accounts.

Mr. Peretin’s experience gives him distinctive insight into the challenges and needs of retailers. In addition to previous sales and operations roles, while at H.B. Maynard and Company, the premier industrial engineering workforce management consulting firm, Mr. Peretin served for twelve years as an independent consultant to major retailers, including Wegmans Markets, Polo Ralph Lauren, H.E. Butt Grocery Co. and Publix Supermarkets, in connection with their workforce management solutions.

Mr. Peretin explained, “Workforce and execution management solutions are more relevant now than ever, particularly in this economy. Over the past few years, leading retailers have shifted from viewing labor as a cost to an asset. They now are focused on managing labor to maximize customer service and top line growth, as opposed to simply squeezing labor dollars out of an already tight budget. Until the introduction of Logile’s Enterprise Labor ModelTM, workforce solutions did not keep pace with this philosophical change. Now, retailers finally have the missing pieces needed to understand their true labor cost and to proactively plan and manage labor as an asset -- a real-time enterprise solution using dynamic, engineered labor standards. The Logile solution, with its capabilities and the ease with which it can be implemented and used, make it the right solution for the retail market. I am very excited to be part of the team bringing it to the retail industry.”

While at Maynard, Mr. Peretin served as a Vice President and designed and managed the delivery of workforce management solutions across the retail, distribution and manufacturing sectors. Just prior to joining Logile, Mr. Peretin served as Senior Director of Continuous Improvement at Dick’s Sporting Goods, where he was responsible for process and systems improvement, store communication and field readiness. As a recognized industry thought leader, Mr. Peretin has addressed regional and national conferences on a variety of workforce management topics. In addition, he authored "Computerized Work Measurement Systems" in the Industrial Engineering Handbook, Fifth Edition, by McGraw-Hill, and has published articles on a variety of industrial engineering topics.

Rick Schlenker, Co-Founder and Senior Vice President -- Customer Operations and Professional Services of Logile commented, “We wanted someone who recognized retailers’ needs for a workforce management system based on an enterprise labor model and engineered standards, as well as their need for a solution that can be deployed on schedule and actually used by store managers. Jeff, a recognized industry expert in retail labor management, shared our vision. He has a proven track record of partnering with world-class retailers and has consistently delivered bottom line results. We are incredibly pleased that he has joined our team.”
