SharePoint Solutions Adds Managing Director and Managing Consultant to its Consulting Division

SharePoint Solutions, a national leader in Microsoft SharePoint products and technologies training, consulting and add-on software, has added two IT executives to its consulting division. Terry Rankin joins as managing director and Jim DiGiovanni as managing consultant.

Rankin most recently was with Wycliffe Bible Translators USA in Orlando, Fla., where he was director of the IT Project Office and Software Development. His career in IT began at IBM in system software support and continued there in service research and analysis for field engineering, and project and program management in healthcare. A graduate of IBM's Systems Research Institute, specializing in artificial intelligence, he published several papers in the field and provided technical and business training to IBM personnel and customers.

After leaving IBM he managed consulting practices at Oracle and Crystal Decisions, and held director positions at the American Cancer Society's national headquarters and IntegriMED, a small healthcare software firm.

Rankin holds a B.S. degree in mathematics and philosophy, and a M.A. degree in logic and philosophy of science. He also is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®) through the Project Management Institute (PMI), and Program Management Master (PMM™) through the Project Management Leadership Group (PMLG).

DiGiovanni has more than 30 years experience in consulting and project management, most recently with Wycliffe Bible Translators USA, where he was applications manager.

He has assisted numerous companies with identifying key issues confronting their organizations and helped them achieve their goals by providing tailored business solution designs, development and implementation.

DiGiovanni has a B.A. degree from Rutgers University, and holds the project management designation of Certified SCRUM Master from the SCRUM Alliance.
