Hitachi Consulting Named Top 10 Services Provider to Consumer Products Industry for Third Year Running

For the third year in a row, Hitachi Consulting is ranked fifth in the annual listing of Top 10 consulting services providers by Consumer Goods Technology readers. Hitachi Consulting, the business and IT consulting company of Hitachi Ltd., has been ranked in the Top 10 four years in a row as a leader in the consumer goods industry segment.

The ranking, part of Consumer Goods Technology's 2009 Readers' Choice Survey, was calculated from information provided by consumer company executives, whose responses also included customer experience rankings.

"Hitachi Consulting is consistently receiving high marks from Consumer Goods Technology readers," says Alliston Ackerman, editor, Consumer Goods Technology. "Its position in this year's Top 10 list clearly demonstrates its ongoing commitment to an expanding depth of expertise in addressing the comprehensive needs of consumer goods companies."

Among those ranked ahead of Hitachi Consulting on this year's list are multi-billion dollar global consultancies IBM, Deloitte, Accenture, and one company wholly focused on the consumer products industry.

"Appearing in the Top 5 for the third time in three years, and in the Top 10 for the fourth year in a row, is validation that Hitachi Consulting is making a real impact on its clients' businesses.
