9 Staff Members of Spectrum Pension Consultants, Inc. Receive ASPPA Credentials in 2008

Spectrum Pension Consultants, Inc. congratulates nine staff members for their achievements in earning new or advanced professional qualifications from the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries (ASPPA).

"This is an outstanding achievement," said Chief Executive Officer Petros Koumantaros. "A majority of our consultants now have professional qualifications or graduate degrees. Within 12 months, all consulting staff will have earned qualifications. This will place Spectrum among the very top organizations in the retirement plan industry."

Spectrum consultants receiving ASPPA credentials in 2008 are:

  • Yannis Koumantaros, Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA).
  • Kevin E. Boercker, QPA.
  • Jaime Smalley, QPA.
  • Angie Darby, Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA).
  • Brian Downer, QKA.
  • Matt Olson, QKA.
  • Brianne Riley, QKA.
  • Vicki Thompson, QKA.
  • Liz Zappola, QKA.

Boercker also was awarded the Martin Rosenberg Academic Achievement Award by ASPPA for outstanding examination performance. In addition, Yannis Koumantaros and Boercker were selected to co-present a session on Retirement Income Adequacy at the ASPPA Annual Conference Oct. 19-22 in Washington, D.C.
