Hitachi Consulting and Shore Consulting Group Join Forces to Provide the Province of Ontario with eGovernment Services

Hitachi Consulting, a leading provider of IT consulting and management consulting solutions and services, today announced it has been selected by the Government of the Province of Ontario, Canada to be a Vendor of Record (VOR) for Information Technology Solutions Consulting Services (under VOR Arrangement OSS-00195390 - I&IT Solutions Consulting Services). Under the terms of the master agreement, Hitachi Consulting is pre-qualified to supply project-based IT solutions and services to all Ontario Government Ministries and Agencies for a period of three years.

Hitachi Consulting is teamed with Toronto-based Shore Consulting Group, an IT consulting company with strong e-Government capabilities focused on helping government services connect to citizens, and government agencies connect to each other. The two companies will work in concert to offer a variety of capabilities to Ontario public sector entities including:

  • Solutions and deep knowledge in Healthcare, Human Services and Education.
  • Public sector expertise in a variety of global markets, including both the U.K. and the U.S.
  • Deep experience in .NET development and both Microsoft and Oracle technologies.
