Sigma Solutions has announced the acquisition of the Server/Storage/Virtualization Division of Laurus Technologies, based in Chicago, Il. This is Sigma's second acquisition in the Midwest in the last six months. The acquisition will combine the Laurus SSV Division with Sigma's earlier purchase of the Midwest assets of Artemis Technology, thus expanding Sigma's footprint in this marketplace. Sigma Solutions is a respected enterprise-wide computing solutions provider, based in San Antonio, Texas.

The acquisition of Laurus' SSV Division brings together two established and respected names in the IT-solutions provider industry. Complementing the acquisition, Sigma Solutions and Laurus Technologies have also structured a teaming agreement for Oracle, SAP, and Microsoft SharePoint opportunities. Sigma will work closely with the Laurus Business Application team to size and configure infrastructure solutions needed to support these enterprise applications. Sigma's Professional Services expertise will now comprehensively engage and support a wide set of enterprise IT solutions.
