Verizon Business Signs IT Infrastructure Agreement With Nissan North America

Nissan North America Inc. has selected Verizon Business to manage the company's end-to-end IT network infrastructure services, under a multiyear outsourcing agreement.

Verizon Business will manage and secure Nissan North America's IT network infrastructure, which connects more than 13,000 employees across 46 locations in the U.S. and Canada. The company's converged voice and data network links its North American headquarters with key business units, including production, design, research and development, manufacturing and distribution.

"We believe outsourcing IT requirements to Verizon Business will result in improved performance, reliability and security for Nissan," said Blair Crump, group president of worldwide sales, Verizon Business.

Verizon Business will provide services to manage network security and complexity, including managed wide area networking, managed local area networking (LAN), wireless LAN, managed voice, conferencing, call center and security services. Expert Verizon Business IT consultants will develop and deploy the end-to-end integrated solution to provide improved performance and security.
