Provider of information technology services and business solutions Perot Systems Corporation (NYSE:PER) today announced that it will acquire BearingPoint Management Consulting (Shanghai) Ltd, a management and technology consulting company with offices in Shanghai and Beijing.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed and the transaction is subject to approval from the US Bankruptcy Court and the Chinese government.
This transaction follows the 21 September 2009 announcement that Perot Systems will be acquired by Dell (Nasdaq-NMS:DELL).
This overall combination of Perot and BearingPoint is expected to give enterprises in China access to a complete suite of IT, applications, business-process and consulting services.
Upon completion of acquisition, the BearingPoint China Consulting operations will become part of the Perot Systems Commercial Solutions business unit.
