Mike Jeffreys Consulting, LLC has begun operations in the coastal town of Murrells Inlet, SC. Emphasis will be on providing "smart" procurement options for small businesses.
The operation will be headed by Michael Jeffreys who has over 30 years purchasing experience for a Fortune 200 Energy Company and has negotiated strategic alliances with companies like General Electric, Siemens, Bechtel Power and Babcock and Wilcox.
Mike has been involved in many multi-million dollar construction projects in both the Nuclear and Fossil Energy fields and has experience in Nuclear 10CFR50 Appendix B requirements. Mike's experience includes Cost Control and Scheduling, Claims Management, Strategic Purchasing, Supplier Qualification and Contract Administration.
"Small Business" does not have the same advantages in this area as large corporations do", says Mike. "I hope to give them the edge over their competition by providing my expertise where they can get the best value for their dollar."
Mike Jeffreys Consulting, LLC does not have the high overhead of large consulting firms. Therefore hourly rates will be very affordable. Most work can be accomplished out of his Murrells Inlet location however, travel to a client's location can be arranged, if necessary. Work can be performed on a fixed price basis for defined scope or on an hourly plus expense basis.
