Relationship management solutions company Convergys Corporation (NYSE:CVG) stated on Monday that its Home Agent programme is being expanded into the UK. The company said that the move aims to provide a new career with flexible hours and work at home opportunity for those exploring ways to maintain their standards of living.
Convergys will use its same US web based rollout strategy for the programme in the UK, utilising a specialised UK platform. Targeted clients are those requiring UK based agents or support in multiple languages.
Calls to home agents will be from billing and informational service to technical assistance from customers of Convergys' clients from different industries.
Candidates' application through training and employment will be completed from an individual's home desktop and the workplace requirements will be a quiet work place, a PC meeting Convergys' minimum standards, cable or DSL high-speed Internet access and a noise-cancelling headset, stated the company.
