Robert J. Ellis, Joins Novarica, A Division Of Novantas LLC; Wealth Management and Trust Expert Will Expand Novarica’s Coverage into New Areas

Novarica, a research and advisory services division of Novantas LLC focused on markets, operations, and technology for insurers and financial institutions, today announced that Robert J. Ellis is joining the company as Principal in charge of the new wealth management research and advisory practice.

Mr. Ellis was most recently the senior vice president in charge of the wealth management practice at Celent, a previously independent analyst firm acquired by Oliver Wyman (itself a division of MMC). He will bring his distinctive expertise in strategy and technology for wealth management, trust, and brokerage firms to Novarica’s advisory clients. As the wealth management research practice lead, he will report to Novarica director Matthew Josefowicz and be based in the company’s New York office.

In addition to strategic consulting experience at Celent and Fast Track Advisors, Mr. Ellis has achieved outstanding results over a twenty-year career in wealth management and financial services that includes senior executive positions with Hibernia Bank managing delivery channels and the private client group, as well as roles leading trust and brokerage organizations. Mr. Ellis holds a BBA from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the Harvard Business School, as well as gaining licenses as a CPA, securities principal (Series 7, 24, and 63), and life/health/accident insurance agent in New York State.
