TSI Healthcare and SURVE Consulting Announce a Strategic Alliance for Leadership and Business Development

TSI Healthcare, a national leader in physician practice management and EHR systems selection and implementation, and The SURVE Consulting Group, a leader counsel and business coaching resource firm, have announced a strategic alliance. TSI expects to employ policies directed by SURVE allowing them to double their staffing resources and revenues within the next two (2) years.

TSI (and its subsidiaries) currently has approximately 75 employees and had revenues in excess of $10 million in 2008. TSI was founded in 1997 with a mission to help physicians practice better medicine through the systematic implementation of better business processes and improved technology utilization.

The alliance between TSI and SURVE began with an in-depth Management Retreat last fall. One of the results of this retreat is a revised vision to move from "helping physicians and computers work better together" to "partnering with physicians to bring better medicine to the masses." David Dickson, TSI's President and CEO, explained the new strategy by saying, "We can no longer ignore the effect that the subpar documentation and the glaring communication rift that exist between patients and physicians has on our society as a whole. Similarly, we cannot just "plug and play" technology into these arenas of need and expect it to "fix" these problems. We believe the emphasis should be on the patient but NOT at the expense of the provider of their care. We remain committed to our physician clients and to the better welfare of the healthcare industry. SURVE has been instrumental in helping us move towards these goals at a pace we would not have been able to achieve independently."

TSI and SURVE have completed the initial 5 month process to evaluate talent, facilitate learning and incorporate change in their "100 Days to SURVE" campaign. Recently SURVE began a Phase III Selling Process to better educate TSI's sales personnel to sustainable growth positions through a focus on mutually beneficial relationships with their physician clients. The SURVE Team is in place and new teams under each section leader have been chosen. They are continuing to measure responsibility and accountability to ensure greater impact and influence. SURVE facilitators will be a part of TSI's daily operations as required to help implement and guide the company to the next level with expert knowledge, real-world illustrations and ongoing coaching.
