Brand Management Group and Induct Software Partner on Innovation

Induct Software AS (Induct), “The Open Innovation Company™,” and Brand Management Group (BMG), a premier Scandinavian innovation consulting company, have signed a partnership Agreement for innovation management.

Under the Agreement, BMG will implement its innovation process methodology, and its innovation consulting recommendations, on Induct’s fully customizable open innovation management platform. The customized system will be delivered to BMG customers that are building a culture of innovation, and that want to manage their entire innovation process on one consistent Web-based platform.

Brand Management Group is a Scandinavian management consulting company specializing in marketing strategy and innovation. Their clients are leaders or challengers in their own defined sectors, which include banking, insurance, communication services, travel, telecom, and IT services. Examples of major customers include the largest bank in Norway, DnB NOR, the Norwegian Post, and Statkraft, a leading provider of renewable energy.

“Until now, BMG has delivered the results of our innovation consulting using a series of rigorously tested classroom-based tools, analysis, and presentation materials that we have developed over time,” said Terje Sand, managing partner of Brand Management Group. “This serves our customers well, but they have been asking us whether we could help them to take the next step, and actually provide them with a working innovation management system. Induct provides us the ability to deliver this important value-added service to our customers. With Induct’s customization capabilities, we can quickly and easily deliver a Web-based open innovation management system that implements our innovation process, and is customized with the innovation process recommendations we have developed for each customer.”

“This partnership will allow Scandinavian companies to benefit even more from BMG’s innovation management expertise,” said Alf Martin Johansen, Chairman and founder of Induct. “Many companies want to transition to a more open innovation environment, but aren’t quite sure how to get started. Using their consulting methodology and tool set, innovation experts like BMG can analyze a company’s innovation challenges, and make specific recommendations on how to set up an optimized innovation process. Now with Induct, BMG can go even further, and deliver a whole new set of value-added consulting services to its customers, wrapped around Induct’s innovation management platform.”
