Gartner Announces Repurchase of ValueAct's Remaining Shares

Gartner, Inc., the leading provider of research and analysis on the global information technology industry, has announced that it will purchase ValueAct Capital Partner's remaining holdings in Gartner common stock at a price of $35.20 per share, representing a 3.5% discount to Monday's closing price. The purchase will be made pursuant to the Company's previously announced $500 million share repurchase program. As a result, the company will acquire 1,648,434 shares at a total cost of just over $58 million. After this transaction, there will remain approximately $295 million in the share repurchase program.
