Capgemini Strengthens North America Supply Chain Technologies Practice with Addition of Planning, Allocation and Assortment Planning Team

Capgemini, one of the world's foremost providers of consulting, technology and outsourcing services, announced today the expansion of its North America Applications Services Supply Chain Technologies practice through the hiring of a team of specialists formerly of Applied Retail Technologies (ART), a New Jersey-based consulting firm that specialized in helping retail clients with their merchandising challenges. The new team members will enhance Capgemini's expanding planning, allocation and assortment planning capabilities with their experience in assortment planning, multi-channel planning and the addition of new client relationships.

The new team members join Capgemini from a market-leading professional services firm that catered to the needs of retailers, catalogers and e-commerce companies. These experienced retailers, many with more than 15 years of senior managerial experience in a wide variety of retail and catalog companies, offer a wide array of business management competencies, including merchandise planning, merchandising operations and logistics to leading retail companies in women's fashion and cosmetics, athletics apparel, jewelry and general merchandise.
