Care Communications, Inc. Recognized by the National Association for Business Resources as One of “Chicago’s 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work

Care Communications, Inc. a health information management (HIM) consulting and outsourcing firm, announced today it has been recognized as one of “Chicago’s 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For” by the National Association for Business Resources (NABR). 2011 marks the fourth consecutive year that Care Communications has received the award, after being recognized as an Elite Award winner the previous three consecutive years.

“In the healthcare industry, shortages of highly skilled knowledge workers to meet the transformational changes created by electronic medical records, a new coding and classification system, and reimbursement under healthcare reform makes keeping talented and committed employees more important than ever. Our employees are vital to our success, as well as the success of our clients,” said Leslie Ann Fox, CEO of Care Communications. “Being acknowledged for a fourth consecutive year reflects our commitment to retaining the best talent in the HIM industry.”

The NABR awards were established to honor companies across all industries that recognize employees as their greatest asset. The competition received hundreds of entries and recognized the top companies as “Chicago’s 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For.” An independent research firm evaluates all entries and assesses nominated companies on several key measures, and each application is examined statistically for quantitative data and scored using a point system. Companies receiving the highest points are selected as the winners.

The NABR will recognize winners at the “Chicago’s 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For” annual symposium and awards luncheon on August 1 , 2011 at the Chicago Oak Brook Marriott in Oak Brook, Ill. Along with honoring winning companies, NABR will also present 11 elite awards at the event.
