GAI Consultants Creates New Position for Quality Director

Jeanne Cotter, CQE is named Director of Quality for GAI Consultants, Inc.

Serving the industrial market for more than 20 years, Cotter develops, implements, and manages quality management systems and safety programs for engineering and construction professionals. She provides support and direction on design-build work and water-related projects and is experienced in various market sectors, including oil and natural gas, power, and municipalities.

As Director of Quality, Cotter will oversee GAI’s company-wide QA/QC program, which includes nuclear protocols. She will be based in GAI’s Pittsburgh office at the Waterfront in Homestead, PA, working directly with Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Anthony Morrocco, P.E., PLS.

“GAI is committed to delivering superior quality when providing professional services to our customers,” Morrocco noted. “With Jeanne as Director of Quality, we’re taking an extra step to satisfy this commitment.”

In her new role, Cotter will manage regulatory licensing, audits, and the inspection process as well as the NQA-1 and ISO-9000 quality system. She will also supervise the Quality Assurance Managers throughout GAI’s 19 offices.

Cotter earned a B.S. in industrial engineering from Pennsylvania State University and is a member of the American Society for Quality as well as an ASQ Certified Quality Engineer.
