G&B Solutions to Support CSC In Social Security Administration’s Information Technology Support Services Project– a $2.8B IDIQ Contract Award

G&B Solutions, a wholly owned subsidiary of VSE Corporation (NASDAQ: VSEC), received notification of a contract award, as a subcontractor to CSC, to provide Information Technology Support Services (ITSS) to the Social Security Administration (SSA). CSC is one of four firms to be awarded this $2.8 billion indefinite-delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract with a base period of one year and six one-year options.

Under the terms of the contract, G&B Solutions will support CSC by providing responsive consulting and IT services to maintain and modernize SSA’s systems and architecture in application validation, software engineering and technology, and systems administration for z/OS, UNIX, Windows and WebSphere.

G&B has been serving the SSA in various contracts for the past eight years. One of the primary contracts is providing equipment and IT support for SSA employees with disabilities. G&B also supports the SSA Office of Telecommunications and Systems Operations (OTSO) to assure the maintenance and continuity of the Agency’s technological and programmatic environment. Specific areas of support include: Mainframe hardware, software, LAN and network engineering, facilities, communications, computer operations, computer scheduling, and document management imaging services.

“We are excited to support CSC and the SSA in this very important initiative,” said G&B Solutions, Inc., President Denise Manning. “This award, which follows other critical work G&B has been performing for SSA, speaks not only to G&B core competencies, but to the demonstrated commitment and responsive service G&B provides to their clients. We are prepared to make significant contributions and continue to build on our valued relationships with CSC and the SSA. They can be assured we will provide the highest quality services and that we are focused and committed to the continued mission success of the SSA.”
