The Chartis Group Adds Three Healthcare Leaders to Its Consulting Practices

The Chartis Group, a leading healthcare advisory services firm, announced today the election of David Terry to the position of Principal and the addition of two Senior Consultants, Tiffany Breau-Metivier and Gene Corapi. Each is an industry expert who will provide unrivaled support to leading healthcare organizations advancing their strategic, organizational and operational performance.

"Each of these individuals is a tremendous asset to our clients and our firm. Each has a history of delivering superior results for hospitals and health systems nationwide," said Ken Graboys, Managing Director and Founder of The Chartis Group.

Terry is a leader in the firm's Alignment and Accountable Care Practice. His healthcare career spans nearly twenty years, during which he has served as a management consultant and as a senior healthcare executive. Terry's experience spans a number of healthcare settings, including: acute care hospitals, integrated delivery networks, academic medical centers, physician practices, home healthcare, skilled nursing, hospice, dialysis, and managed care. His most recent work includes strategic planning, physician alignment and developing strategic affiliations. Prior to joining The Chartis Group, Terry was the Founder and President of the consulting firm, Salvectus Healthcare. He also served as Senior Vice President of Business Development for Harborside Healthcare, a long-term healthcare company, and as the Director of Product Management for Partners Community Healthcare Incorporated (PCHI), the for-profit physician network arm of Partners HealthCare System in Boston, Massachusetts. He holds an MBA from Harvard and a BA from Columbia University.

"Dave is a senior advisor with a deep understanding of a range of health care organizations. His experience as a healthcare executive at Partners during and after the last major industry restructuring provides him a unique experience base and prism through which to provide advice and support to our clients for continued success in an accountable care environment," said Steve Levin, Director and Leader of the Alignment and Accountable Care Practice at The Chartis Group.

Breau-Metivier's experience in healthcare includes leading strategy and operations initiatives as a health system executive and as a consultant. She is highly experienced in the areas of strategic planning, service line development, business development and physician alignment. Her operations improvement experience includes clinical care model redesign, productivity management, performance benchmarking, patient throughput optimization and operations redesign. Prior to joining The Chartis Group, Breau-Metivier worked at MaineGeneral Health where she directed the institution's strategic planning function. Previously, Metivier served as a Consultant with Bain & Company. She earned an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and a BA from Harvard College.

"Tiffany brings to our clients a wealth of experience as a senior advisor and as a health system executive," says Chris Regan, Managing Director and Strategic Planning Practice Leader at The Chartis Group. "She helps clients craft game-changing strategic plans and bring them to fruition. She has a rare, impactful combination of skills."

Corapi's experience in healthcare spans over 20 years in executive management positions and consulting. Like Breau-Metivier, he has both operations and strategy experience. His operations experience includes inpatient access and throughput, ancillary services management, operational resource allocation, and ambulatory operations efficiency. Prior to joining The Chartis Group, Corapi was the Senior Vice-President of Operations at Suburban Hospital/John Hopkins Medicine. Earlier in his career, Corapi acquired extensive consulting experience as a healthcare management consultant at APM/CSC Healthcare.

"As a hospital executive, Gene dramatically improved operations through a balanced focus on service excellence, staff engagement, process redesign and management, performance management, financial outcomes and growth.
