Microsoft Selected InfoReliance as Federal SharePoint Deployment Partner of the Year

The Microsoft U.S. Public Sector Division has selected InfoReliance as their Federal SharePoint Deployment Partner of the Year. This is the third time in the past four years that Microsoft has awarded InfoReliance with a partner award, the previous being Federal Services Partner of the Year for both 2007 and 2008. Microsoft has over 150,000 U.S. partners and only 21 Public Sector awards were presented at the Worldwide Partner Conference 2010.

This award recognizes InfoReliance as the top SharePoint consulting partner among a broad and diverse partner community of the Microsoft Federal organizations. The company has implemented sophisticated SharePoint solutions across a wide spectrum of Federal agencies, including the Headquarters AF and Air Force District of Washington, Air Staff International Affairs, Department of Homeland Security, and National Transportation Safety Board.

"We have proudly partnered with Microsoft to provide highly complex SharePoint solutions for numerous Federal clients across Defense and Civilian agencies," said InfoReliance President, Andrew Butler, "We are honored to be recognized for all our success."

One of InfoReliance's most successful SharePoint projects is their Mission Critical SharePoint Enterprise solution they have developed for U.S. Air Forces Central Command (USAFCENT) and deployed overseas. The solution was developed using a full suite of Microsoft technologies and integrated with other best of breed products including Syntergy Replicator. Since its initial deployment in June 2007, it has become a key solution supporting USAFCENT's global mission and directly supports the warfighter with approximately 25,000 users worldwide.

"Microsoft's federal partners are essential to our goal of delivering technologies and solutions that help agencies meet mission requirements," said Teresa Carlson, Vice President, Microsoft Federal. "InfoReliance's work this year shows what can be accomplished when great technology and tools are combined with government expertise."

The Microsoft Partner Program is designed for all partners who develop and market solutions based on Microsoft platforms, provide consulting or technical services on Microsoft systems, or recommend Microsoft technology purchases. Microsoft partners include consulting services providers, independent software vendors (ISVs), independent hardware vendors, large account resellers (LARs), original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), support providers, system integrators, system builders, training providers, value-added resellers and value-added providers.
