Hayes Management Consulting, a leading healthcare consulting firm, is pleased to announce its new inpatient consulting division. The division will be led by Amitav Hajra, a former Epic Systems Corporation manager who played an integral role in the development of the Epic Inpatient electronic medical record application.

Amit has more than fifteen years' experience in the healthcare industry, with an emphasis on clinical systems from Epic Systems Corporation. He has directed large and complex healthcare IT projects, led and managed teams through aggressive implementation schedules, and improved rollouts by reducing implementation times. Amit has also been responsible for the software optimization process for inpatient and ambulatory clinical applications. He reduced turnaround time to implement software optimizations by 25% and reduced the average number of open optimization requests by 50%. His systems knowledge includes EpicCare Inpatient, EpicCare Ambulatory EpicCare, EpicRx, ASAP, Optime, MyChart, Cardiant, Cadence/Prelude, Resolute PB, Resolute HB, GE Centricity/Medicalogic, Clarity, MS SQL, DB2, Oracle, and Meditech.
Previous to Hayes, Amit managed the development, implementation, and optimization of clinical applications at Carillion Clinic, Aspirius, Inc, Marshfield Clinic and Epic Systems Corporation.
