Scouler & Company, a national boutique restructuring firm, added another member to its team of seasoned financial professionals, hiring Brad Walker as a Principal. Scouler & Company is also opening up a new regional office in Dallas, Texas, where Walker will be based. Walker brings to Scouler & Company over 20 years of experience rebuilding and reorganizing companies in a variety of industries. These include manufacturing and distribution, energy, technology, software and internet development, healthcare, retail, food retail, and grocery retail. Since 1988, Mr. Walker has worked with underperforming companies by leading efforts to develop and implement action plans to improve cash flow, restructure key business units and spinoff nonperforming divisions and assets. Over the past ten years, Brad has served primarily as CRO ("Chief Restructuring Officer"), interim CEO or chief advisor during the turnaround process. Prior to working in the restructuring industry, Mr. Walker was a partner with Beane Walker & Co. where he was responsible for its high tech venture capital investments. Notable ventures include InCare, the nation's first PC / Internet based private network targeted for the medical industry. Brad began his career at Arthur Andersen in the management consulting division.
