Capgemini India Appoints Anish Sarkar as Head of Consulting

Capgemini, one of the foremost providers of consulting, technology and outsourcing services, today announced the appointment of Anish Sarkar, as the Head of Consulting for India.

Anish, in his new role, has the responsibility of driving the Consulting business for the domestic India market; bringing in Capgemini Consulting’s global offerings around Strategy & Transformation across different verticals such as Manufacturing, Utilities, Telecom and Pharmaceuticals. Anish will play a key role in growing Capgemini’s India Consulting unit which will focus on helping Indian organizations achieve their growth ambitions, improve business processes and reduce support costs.

Anish is a Capgemini India veteran, having joined the organization in 1998 after completing his MBA at IIM Calcutta. Prior to this new role, Anish was Global Sales Officer for Capgemini India, responsible for offshore sales and account development of global clients, as well as driving sector-based solutions and innovation from India. He also has rich Consulting experience, having led large transformation programmes for Capgemini’s clients globally and in India.

Anish has an MBA from IIM Calcutta and a B.Tech from IIT Kharagpur. He has an avid interest in writing and recently penned his successful debut English fiction 'Benaami'.
