ISA Consulting Joins Ernst & Young

As companies increase their investment in business performance management and business intelligence, Ernst & Young LLP today announced that ISA Consulting LLC, a privately owned consultancy, has joined Ernst & Young in the United States.

ISA Consulting, based in Philadelphia, with operations in New York, Atlanta, Boston and Washington DC, specializes in helping companies improve their effectiveness and efficiency through business performance management, business intelligence and data integration services.

In addition to this investment in human resources, the organization will provide Ernst & Young with proprietary methodologies and intellectual property that augment current capabilities in analytics technologies addressing performance management and performance improvement. These are top areas of investment for CFOs today, as they look to help their organization make better decisions.

"The acquisition of ISA Consulting is part of a broader strategy to expand Ernst & Young's already strong presence in the performance management and analytics market," says Bob Patton, Americas Advisory Services Leader, Ernst & Young LLP. "ISA Consulting's reputation for quality service and integrity, as well as the experience of their team, makes them a great cultural fit with Ernst & Young."

The global Ernst & Young organization has experienced very strong organic growth in its Advisory businesses overall, with more than 20,000 professionals now in the global advisory network. The acquisition of ISA Consulting, along with the recent acquisitions of Hacktics, Global Analytics, EnteGreat, Capital City Technologies and Sargas by Ernst & Young firms in the Americas area, illustrate the organization's commitment to the performance improvement market segment.

"We continue to invest in people and processes that help our clients use their technology, information and data to gain the deeper insights needed to drive business performance in the future," commented Andy Rusnak, Americas Enterprise Intelligence Practice Leader, Ernst & Young LLP.

"Many CFOs regard business intelligence, analytics and performance management services at the top of their operational priority lists," says Kelly Matthews, Kennedy Consulting Research & Advisory's Senior Director. "As companies experience exponential growth in data volumes, pressure to make critical decisions in real-time and ongoing regulatory and competitive pressures, they are relying on professional services organizations like Ernst & Young to help turn that data into actionable insights that can be used as effectively and quickly as possible." In a recent Kennedy research report on Information Management & Analytics Consulting, Ernst & Young was identified as a trusted advisor among C-level executives across many industries and was strongly rated in strategy, analytics, data governance and data management.(1)

"C-suite executives need business insight to drive improved corporate performance," Rusnak added. "They need to access a deeper understanding of their data and information to guide strategic and tactical decisions that lead to higher performance."

"The addition of this team expands our existing leadership in business performance management and our commitment to providing outstanding service to our clients in this market," added Rusnak.
