Huron Consulting Group (NASDAQ: HURN), a leading provider of business consulting services, today announced that Gary Keilty has joined the Company as a managing director in Huron Healthcare’s Compliance & Investigations solution. Keilty specializes in providing forensic investigation, dispute resolution, regulatory compliance and acquisition due diligence services to healthcare and life sciences organizations and their outside legal counsel.

Keilty has more than 20 years of experience helping healthcare providers and life sciences companies confront the numerous emerging and existing regulatory laws and management oversight requirements. He helps clients and their outside counsel work through internal regulatory compliance and risk mitigation assessments, internal investigations, and reviews by various government enforcement agencies. Keilty conducts assessments to review state and federal regulatory compliance efforts, infrastructure, policies and procedures, and he then works with clients to implement and maintain a program to comply with applicable U.S. laws, regulations and guidance issued by government authorities.
At Huron Healthcare, Keilty will provide expert guidance and support during special investigations, qui tam actions and other instances in which healthcare fraud or False Claims Act violations have been alleged. Prior to joining Huron Healthcare, Keilty worked at the National Health Sciences Practices of Deloitte Financial Advisory Services, LLP, and Navigant Consulting Inc., where he was responsible for developing and delivering regulatory compliance and risk mitigation, investigative and dispute resolution support to healthcare providers, pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers, and law firms that specialize in healthcare.
