Billups Launches Consulting Group

A veteran of over two decades of resort management experience in the vacation ownership industry has recently announced the formation of his company to offer consulting services to resort owners associations and related businesses.

The Billups Group & Affiliates, Inc., founded by Reginald (Reg) Billups, PCAM, provides consulting services to owners associations, timeshare developers and management companies. Utilizing the expertise of various proven specialists to supply strategic guidance and support to his clients, some of the consulting services provided by his firm include resort operations audits, communications services, vacation insurance, association collection, tax advisors, reserve programs, association funds investments, owner communications, energy management, association board relations, and owners association training for resort managers.

Billups has served as VP of Association Management for Starwood Vacation Ownership, VP of Business Development for Island One Resort Management, Inc., Director of Property Management and resort Operations for Hilton Grand Vacations Company and VP of Mariner Services Corporation. He has served as National Chairman of the Resort Committee of the Community Associations Institute (CAI) and as a member of that organization’s National Board of Trustees as well as various ARDA committees.

Earlier he was awarded ARDA’s Gold Award as the nation’s top Resort Management Executive. Reg has served on the Florida State Condominium Advisory Council and was appointed by the Governor of Florida to the State Regulatory Council of Community Association Managers, where he served for 10 years, five of which were as Council Chairman. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from West Virginia State University and attended graduate school at George Washington University.
