RSM McGladrey, one of the nation's leading tax, accounting and business consulting firms, revealed the firm's new advertising campaign during The McGladrey Team Championship. The campaign begins today with an ad in The Wall Street Journal, to be followed by a series of online, print and radio executions.
"The power of being understood"SM campaign initially uses photographs and quotes from LPGA Tour Professional and Team McGladrey member Natalie Gulbis and her caddie Greg Sheridan to tee up the overarching premise behind the campaign: a strong partnership begins with understanding.
"Understanding, trust and respect are critical elements of any relationship, whether it's in business or on the golf course," said Gulbis. "Greg knows me and he knows my game. We might not always completely agree, but I trust him to provide me with the best possible advice, and he trusts me to listen and then to play my best. In other words, he helps me perform at my best."
A series of "the power of being understood" ads highlights the similarities between business and golf, and will also include other Team McGladrey members PGA Tour Professionals Zach Johnson and Chris DiMarco. The ads illustrate that when you get good advice - whether from your caddie or from your tax, accounting and business consulting firm - the power in a relationship comes from being understood.
"When you trust the advice you're getting, you know your next move is the right move," said RSM McGladrey's Chief Marketing Officer Mark Audino. "'The power of being understood' campaign celebrates the great partnerships between golf professionals and caddies, and highlights moments when a golfer can advance with confidence because he or she knows that they are understood. That's the same relationship McGladrey has with its clients. Our national team of dedicated professionals earns our clients' trust by transforming what we know about them into actionable business value. As a result, they trust us to help them succeed. You'll be amazed how 'on your game' you can be when you're served by people who understand."
In addition to The Wall Street Journal, "the power of being understood" ads will appear in a number of digital destinations, and will be heard on Sirius XM Radio.
