ATTUS' RISC Services Group Celebrates Its 1000th Consulting Engagement Along With Its 98% Client Satisfaction Rating

ATTUS Technologies, Inc, a respected market leader in regulatory compliance software and services, today announced two significant milestones for its Risk and Information Security Consulting (RISC) Services Group. The group recently completed its 1000th consulting engagement and based on customer surveys earned a 98% client satisfaction rating.

Created in 2002, the RISC Services Group has steadily grown its client base and its array of services, all without sacrifice to its high standards for customer service and quality. This is evidenced in the recent survey in which 98% of clients rated their overall experience with the group as good or excellent, with the majority (88%) describing their experience as excellent.

"Completing our 1000th RISC Services engagement is a major event for ATTUS as it demonstrates the depth and breadth of our regulatory compliance expertise," said Tom Fedell, president and CEO of ATTUS. "The outstanding results of our customer survey indicate that our clients agree. The fact that 98% of them indicated that they would recommend ATTUS shows that they appreciate our continued commitment to providing them with superior service and support."

The RISC Services Group provides comprehensive professional services that help financial institutions meet the regulatory compliance requirements of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) and the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA). "Seven years ago, we decided to take the client experience beyond just compliance software," added Fedell. "We wanted to present our clients with a well-rounded array of both products and services that helped them mitigate their most pressing risks and meet their regulatory compliance requirements."

The range of RISC Services includes two focused on critical risk management issues for financial institutions. The ATTUS Information Security Review is a comprehensive assessment of an institution's Information Security Program, examining the policies, procedures, physical security and technology of the institution to help it comply with GLBA. To assist financial institutions with their Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering compliance, the ATTUS BSA Review provides a complete evaluation of an institution's overall risk management program.

For financial institutions concerned about the rising threat of systems' attacks, ATTUS offers peace of mind through its External Penetration and Social Engineering Tests. Both use a combination of sophisticated technology and intuitive manual techniques to detect vulnerabilities and risks associated with the organization.

These are then reported to the institution along with recommendations on how to mitigate the risk thus reducing the chances that the client's system will be illegally hacked and subverted by criminals.

In recent months, the RISC Services Group added the ATTUS Red Flag Review Service. It assesses a financial institution's Identity Theft Prevention Program in accordance with the FACT Act's new rules that went into full effect as of May 2009.

Like all of the services available from the RISC Services Group, this new one includes a thorough review and investigation by consultants with real-world experience in their respective specialties.

"Once a review is completed for a RISC Services engagement, our consultants fully review their findings with the client and provide recommended solutions for shoring up any risk," concluded Fedell. "Our thoroughness combined with our personalized attention is what makes this group stand apart. We never abandon our clients just because the official review is done. Our consultants continue to be available for advice and support as clients implement those solutions."
