Convergys Wins Speech Technology Magazine Awards for Professional Services, Speech Self-Service Suite

Convergys announced it has won a 2009 Speech Industry Award for its Professional Services offering from Speech Technology Magazine.

The magazine also named Convergys a Market Leader for its Speech Self-Service Suite at the Speech Industry Awards ceremony, which took place at the annual SpeechTek Conference and Exposition in New York City.

The editors of Speech Technology Magazine determine the winners of the Speech Industry Awards based on analyst and consultant interviews. The editors present the awards to individuals and companies for efforts made to increase awareness and acceptance of speech technologies and for outstanding accomplishments in bringing new products and services to the marketplace.

In presenting the top Professional Services award to Convergys, the editors cited the depth and breadth of services offered by Convergys, as well as its ability to execute and cost as key factors in the win. Convergys' Speech Self-Service Suite took home Market Leader honors for the depth of its functionality, ease of customization, and overall customer satisfaction. The Intervoice Voice Portal, a component of this suite, is a platform that enables enhanced and intelligent customer interactions across multiple channels.
