DRC Expands Washington, D.C. Presence to Support Department of Homeland Security and Federal Civilian Agencies With Management Consulting Services

Dynamics Research Corporation, a leading provider of innovative management consulting, engineering, and technology solutions to federal and state governments, today announced the opening of a new 17,000-square-foot downtown Washington office to support growing customer demand in the Washington, D.C. area market. DRC also announced that Chuck Schefer has been appointed as senior vice president and general manager of the Company's Kadix Management Consulting Group.

The new facility, which is strategically located at 650 Massachusetts Ave. in proximity to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and key federal civilian government agencies, is primarily serving as the downtown base for the Company's Kadix Group. DRC now has more than 550 employees operating out of seven offices in the Greater Washington, D.C. area.

Kadix is a high-end management consulting business with practice specialties in organizational change management, information technology and program management. Formerly senior vice president for Homeland Security at Kadix, Mr. Schefer has more than 20 years of experience leading organizations and projects focused on change management, business process analysis, information technology, and project and program management for public and private sector organizations.
