Stefanini IT Solutions, a global provider of IT consulting, integration and development, and outsourcing services, recently announced the integration of operations with Callere, a Brazilian start-up company, to create Stefanini Document Solutions. Stefanini IT Solutions is the majority owner of the new company, which will focus on the reading and processing of documents.
"Callere's technology complements Stefanini's Business Process Outsourcing offering and together as Stefanini Document Solutions, we are addressing our clients' needs in a practical way," said Antonio Moreira, CEO of Stefanini IT Solutions, North American operations.
Part of Stefanini's growth strategy for 2009 has been to focus on acquisitions as the company looks to support a growing customer base and address emerging opportunities across North America. Negotiations between Callere and Stefanini began seven months ago and they have been partnering on collaborative projects since then.
Stefanini IT Solutions anticipates an increase of $120 million in revenue for 2009, up from $285 million in 2008. In light of the business world's financial troubles and the IT industry's recent governance issues, the company's stability has proven to be a strategic advantage in attracting new business and sustaining current clients.
