LeaderFinder Consulting Recruits Chief Financial Officer for AssuranceAmerica

LeaderFinder Consulting was responsible for the search and recruitment of John Mongelli as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for AssuranceAmerica Corporation, a leading provider of non-standard automobile insurance in the United States.

In this role, Mongelli will be responsible for the leadership and oversight of all financial functions of AssuranceAmerica and its operating divisions. Reporting to Chairman & CEO Guy Millner, Mongelli will also be a member of the Executive Committee. Commenting on Mongelli’s appointment, Tom Carter, founder of LeaderFinder and lead consultant on this engagement said: “We enjoyed working with AssuranceAmerica and their senior management team on such a critical search, and are thrilled to have been able to identify an executive as strong as John Mongelli. John is a Certified Public Account who began his career with Arthur Andersen and then joined Citigroup as a financial analyst. In 1992, Mongelli joined The Coca-Cola Company where he enjoyed a variety of roles that took him from Poland as Controller of Bottling Operations to Director of Long-Term Planning in New York. John then came to the Atlanta headquarters where he was a key member of the financial strategy team initially on Global CFO’s consulting team and then as Investor Relations Manager. In 2002, Mongelli joined ChoicePoint, Inc. as Vice President, Investor Relations and in 2005 he was promoted to Vice President, Corporate Treasurer. A graduate of Villanova University, Mongelli holds a B.S. in Accountancy as well an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern.
