Omnilink Systems Expands Team to Accommodate Growth

Omnilink Systems, a leading provider of end-to-end location-based service (LBS) monitoring solutions, today announced the expansion of its executive team with the addition of James Franklin as Vice President of Professional Services. Franklin is responsible for the implementation and customization of Omnilink’s location-based services platform into client organizations and will lead these initiatives as the company continues its exponential growth. He is based in the company’s Atlanta office and reports to CEO Wain Kellum.

Kellum stated, “We are seeing opportunities to drive costs and efficiencies in every industry by leveraging location-based technologies. James’ extensive business acumen and track record delivering solutions on time and within budget make him the ideal person to lead our services organization.”

Prior to joining Omnilink, Franklin was the Southeast Portfolio Director for Avanade (a joint venture between Accenture and Microsoft), where he created their Mobility Development Center. Before Avanade, James was the General Manager for HP’s U.S. State Government Consulting business unit. His accomplishments at HP include achieving CMMi level 3 for the U.S. Public Sector Consulting business and significant over-achievement in the State and Local Government business through its establishment as an industry leader in Public Safety solutions and process improvement. Additional roles include management consulting on behalf of Price Waterhouse LLC and Oracle Corporation and a self-owned enterprise resource planning (ERP) implementation business named Franklin Consulting. Franklin has a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Maryland and Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Georgia.
