Keane, Inc., a global services firm that specializes in optimizing businesses' information technology (IT) investments, today announced that it has appointed Bill Kelly to the position of Senior Vice President to lead the Company's practice in New England.
An accomplished IT executive, Mr. Kelly has more than 30 years of experience working with senior executives in the sales and delivery of Consulting Services and Application, Infrastructure and Business Process Outsourcing Services.
Most recently, Mr. Kelly was a Partner at global management consultancy Accenture, where he directed a global team of Application Outsourcing Partners and Sales representatives. During his 12 years there, he is credited with generating significant productivity and service level improvements for his clients as well as driving more than $1.2 billion in new business. He also managed all North American Products outsourcing delivery personnel for several years, which included more than 400 people at over 20 engagements.
Prior to joining Accenture, Mr. Kelly served as President of ProSys, a Boston-based consulting, contracting and placement firm that he created and managed. At ProSys, Mr. Kelly worked with some of Boston's largest Financial Services, Manufacturing and Retail companies.
Previously, he served as Marketing Representative and Systems Engineer at IBM, where he increased mainframe sales for the Boston Manufacturing and Distribution office by 50 percent through the development of a pioneering graphic-based capacity planning program. He began his career with positions at Keane, Inc. and John Hancock Life Insurance.
Mr. Kelly earned his undergraduate degree from Boston College and is very involved in the University's development, campus recruiting, volunteering and athletic programs.

Mr. Kelly will report to Mr. Milde, who recently joined Keane with responsibility for client management and service delivery in the metro New York, Northeast and Midwest regions of the U.S.
