Aon Consulting Launches New Media and Creative Services Group for Clients

Aon Consulting Worldwide, the global human capital consulting organization of Aon Corporation (NYSE: AOC), today announced the formation of its New Media and Creative Services group, specializing in interactive and digital media for enhanced internal and executive communication strategies. Brian Baker was hired recently as vice president to lead this group.

The New Media and Creative Services Group will leverage emerging technologies and Aon Consulting's existing strength in strategic communications. The group will develop solutions for engaging employees, reflecting the changing workforce and increasing competitive environments.

"Many organizations have several generations working in various locations, making it necessary to take new approaches to communications planning and execution," said Cindy Keaveney, executive vice president, Human Capital practice leader, with Aon Consulting. "Add to that the ever-changing nature of the business world, and it becomes clear as to why it is essential for today's communications functions to adopt interactive and digital media initiatives. Those that do will benefit from increased engagement of constituencies, greater cost savings and enhanced productivity."

Brian Baker served as vice president of communications for Lehman Brothers, prior to joining Aon Consulting. At Lehman Brothers, he led the internal and external communications functions for the Business Technology division. Before that, he was vice president, communications, information technology, for Credit Suisse Group where he implemented a Web 2.0 employee human capital initiative. With Aon Consulting, Baker will lead the development and implementation of Web 2.0 and social communications strategies for clients' internal and executive communications programs.

Baker earned a bachelor's degree in business administration and marketing from Northeastern University, and he has earned several communications awards throughout his career.

Baker joined Aon Consulting April 20, and is based in New York.
